At the November 9th-11th Region VI National Moot Court Competition in Columbus, the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law team won top honors. Team members Gregory Jolivette, Kelly Means, and Karen Swanson-Haan wrote the best respondent's brief and the best brief overall, and Karen Swanson-Haan was named Best Oralist. Most importantly, the team was judged the best in the region, defeating 18 other moot court teams from law schools in Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio, including Case Western Reserve University and Ohio State University.
