Get Paid for Your Case Briefs

Sue Altmeyer, Electronic Services Librarian, sue.altmeyer@law.csuohio.edu | October 23, 2009 - 13:25

Quimbee.com offers you $7 for each brief, but only for the cases listed. Quimby also has a databank of case briefs, as does 4Lawschool, Lawnix and Law Student Guru. Use caution when using these briefs, as they may contain errors. A safer bet is using LexisNexis case briefs. Select Get a Document, type in the citation and select Case Brief.

Thanks to the Nova City Law Blog.

LexisNexis briefs are not very useful. Many cases address several issues in detail, most of which are absent from the version in the case book. A LexisNexis brief may consist of 90% unimportant material. I also recommend avoiding Wikipedia and 4lawschool at all costs.
