Writing Competition on Alcohol Policy

Have something to say about the regulation of alcohol? The Center for Alcohol Policy would like to hear your views. The Center is sponsoring its 2009 essay contest with the topic “State regulation of alcohol is important because….” The first place winner will be awarded $5,000; second and third place monetary prizes are also available. The contest is open to anyone over the age of 18, and students, academics, and practicing attorneys are encouraged to apply. The deadline for submission is November 18, 2009.
